Why Is It So Hard To Get Rid Of My Stuff (Decluttering Both Heart & Home)
The house feels too big. The yard takes too much work. Closets are full of things you haven’t used in years. Yet the idea of leaving it all behind can feel overwhelming.
You visit a friend who downsized and now enjoys a simpler, more manageable home. It sounds appealing—maybe even like the right next step.
But when you walk back into your own home, your excitement fades and the stress rushes in. What do I do with everything? Why can’t we start? Is it the work, or is it more the psychology behind letting go?
This seminar will offer practical insights—and a better understanding of the emotions involved—so you can create a clear, realistic plan to “let go.”

Driving Ahead: Safety, Independence & What About the Keys
While many older adults value the independence of driving, changes that happen with age may alter a person’s ability to drive safely. It’s quite possible that an 80-year-old in perfect health can drive safely without posing a threat to oneself or other drivers on the road, while a 60-year-old with impaired vision and a medical condition that affects their motor skills may indeed need to stop driving.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are: What factors can affect driving as you age and signs of when it may be time to stop driving? What are your options when you no longer drive? How does giving up your license affect your family? Are there resources or therapies for those wanting to be proactive to keep driving?
